1964 Kennedy sms ????

    OK 1st of all it It's not the same As other Kennedy half dollars I dose have the die mark by the 4. And All around the Reverse of the coin We love your info and your input

    Looks like a normal well circulated crusty kennedy half to me.

    You don't have a 64 SMS. These coins were found in the estate of a former mint director 30+ years. None were released or sold through the mint.

    Unfortunately, this is the stuff that " get rich from pocket change" YouTube charlatans never tell you. They just want clicks and have no interest in educating new collectors.

    SMS, no. What is the die mark you're referring to? I don't see anything special in the photos.

    It is not SMS but it is 90% silver. Does not hurt to ask though. Good luck

    Yep it's a Kennedy half. Is it special? no Junk silver nothing more.

    On the SMS, the 4 of the date has a “teardrop” feature/die chip hanging from the right end of the 4’s horizontal crosspiece.

    @Oldhoopster explained why it can’t be an SMS, but there was a very recent post about this exact subject. Try using the keywords “Kennedy” and “SMS” to locate it…imo…Spark
