1964 Kennedy Half Dollar

I have heard that so many '64 Franklins are getting melted that the population is going down quite rapidly, even with the enormous number minted. Down the road, these might bring more of a collector premium.

If you can get that coin at or under spot, then do it - it's bullion, nothing more.

If you want to assemble a decent set of BU Kennedy Half Dollars, look for coins in mint sets. You can buy individual coins in the series all over eBay. They're always there.

 

Some would say this has already happened.
