The coin gods smiled on me....but that does not always happen.</p><p>Now the other side yes there are some dates,mint marks ,full step nickels who&nbsp; do command high dollars.</p><p>But one really needs to do ones homework....research ,and read.</p><p>If you are&nbsp; collecting to make money by flipping coins.....you MUST know what you&#039;re doing!</p><p>Without the right knowlege one can really end up in big trouble.</p><p>Buy the book before the coin, there&#039;s so many web sites that one can harvest the information needed...But again like the stock market the coin market has its ups and downs.</p><p>Every member here at one time or another has made mistakes....no matter if the admit it or not!</p><p>Even &quot;experts&quot; make mistakes.....</p><p>Again I cannot stress enough one must understand that this hobby is more than placing shinny disc in a holder.</p><p>It is a great hobby that I&#039;ve been involved in since age 7....at 65 I still don&#039;t know it all....but what I do know is knowlege is power in life....and collecting.</p><p>If you really do enjoy this hobby learn to crawl before running.</p><p>That way if you do fall it will be less painful to your wallet.</p><p>Google is your friend it will lead you to sites and information on just about any series.
