Ok I am asking for a friend about this coin cause I don't know much about DD . Is this DD on the date of the number 6 and on the B in Liberty
Pictures are unclear, but I think I see machine doubling on the 6 - worthless doubling. It is a nice example though, and I would keep it... But that's just me.
It is die deterioration doubling damage. The die was used beyond it normal life and the die spread from the center outward. The date and the word Liberty are across from each other so as the die spreads, so does the image. This is why the "L" is right up against or almost climbing the rim and the date shows shifting towards the rim ( such as the 6 ) . Just overuse, probably near the end of that years run and getting ready for the new years dies to start using. Jim
