    I have 2 silvers here one 1948 and other 1964 weights both and the 48 is 6.3 oz and the 64 came up 6.4 oz

    Hi King, Welcome to CoinTalk. Looks like you joined last winter but this is your first posting. You should start you own thread so more members will see it. A number of the participants of this thread haven’t been seen for awhile. Select the forum ie. Coin Chat, Start New Thread.

    And your scale is in grams, not oz. Larry

    The standard weight range for a US silver quarter is 6.25 grams, +/- 0.194 grams. Both coins fall within that range and are considered normal.
