so I came across a real good looking 69d in some change. It looks almost new but the edge is real sharp to touch like the die went to far down. I was just wondering what causes this and if it adds value? Thanks and Happy Holidays
Hey Dag, welcome to the board. The coin pictures looks like an ordinary 63-D, and doesn't appear to be an error. Some cents from the 60's have sharp rims, but this was just a characteristic of striking.
