I'm a bank teller and I've been holding on to this bill for a while. Its in pretty much uncirculated condition besides a slight ding on the bottom of the bill, no fading, folds, or bent corners. Has a 00 starting serial number. Just looking for ideas on its worth and if I should pick it up.
It's from the longest run of star notes. Circulation production, star notes in that series: Begin serial End serial Type Length Run A 000 00001 * - A 001 28000 * 128,000 1-2 B 000 00001 * - B 015 36000 * 1,536,000 1-24 C 000 00001 * - C 001 92000 * 192,000 1-3 D 000 00001 * - D 001 92000 * 192,000 1-3 E 000 00001 * - E 001 92000 * 192,000 1-3 F 000 00001 * - F 001 28000 * 128,000 1-2 G 000 00001 * - G 005 12000 * 512,000 1-8 H 000 00001 * - H 002 56000 * 256,000 1-4 I 000 00001 * - I 001 28000 * 128,000 1-2 J 000 00001 * - J 001 28000 * 128,000 1-2 K 000 00001 * - K 001 92000 * 192,000 1-3 L 000 00001 * - L 008 32000 * 832,000 1-13 The above is from: http://www.uspapermoney.info/groups/f1963ah.txt It's a nice note, but if it were mine, I'd put it back into the wild. It would probably cost you more than face to sell it on eBay.
Fair enough, i may pick it up and run it by some local collectors. Even 10 bucks in profit would be cool. Thank you for the info.
