Hello everyone! I just picked this guy up from my LCS today. Just need any estimates on its value. I was in a rush so I did not get scans of the back, I will post them when I get back home though. Thanks again!

I would estimate it to be $10- $12+ Dollars ungraded.

I would guess considerably more than $10 -$12.

Probably more like 10 times that.

A super nice note, From a run of 640,000 notes, I think its odd that the * star is on the prefix of the number and not on the end. Something I thought was changed with the end of Silver Certificates.
Even this file shows the star at the end.
    Check page 66-67 to see.

All small-size Legal Tender notes (red seal) and Silver Certificates notes (blue seal) have the star as the prefix.

I like this not allot ! it has allot going for it
but in order to give you a value estimate
would need to see a back scan.

That’s a nice note. If in the MS range it should easily be worth a hundred plus. And it’s a star note to boot. Ungraded I would expect to see it at $150.00 since the serial number is below 100.

Do you have a reverse photo. And how is the paper quality?

I did not have much time to fix the white balance and put it on a black background. Here is the raw scan I got. The note has good embossing and appears original. Lots of wrinkles in the paper though.

The wrinkles are minor in my opinion and at least the note doesn’t have crease marks. It was a good buy, one I would have bought myself.

Photograph the note with side lighting to detect folds. Like this.
