Well, a quick check of eBay shows a price range of $18.00 to $25.00... which seems odd, because for a few dollars more you can get the entire five coin set.
I had a batch of graded 1960-ish Franklin proofs a few months ago. I was getting between 10-15 bucks a piece on eBay, not worth my time and energy. I sold them to a dealer who said he was going to crack them open and throw them in his scrap silver bucket.
Sadly, alot of coins are going to be lost if silver leaps up again...which it will, then retreat, then jump again, we lose more, etc, etc, etc. It would probably surprise alot of us if there were an actual count of what has been lost to melts (total mintages less the loss to melt). I know it would be without question more than impossible....but I often wonder what the numbers would look like......
