1963 D Question

    This coin has definitely seen better days. I was looking thru some piles of 63d and came across this thing. It may be nothing,but I'm curious what your opinions are.

    Note the L in liberty

    I could not find a DDO reference with these characteristics, but the ones that are available definitely resemble the way the L is doubled.
    My question is...is this a die chip or something? Maybe just dmg? DD?
