    I'm glad you noticed it and called it a Lamination. Because that's what it is.. Other new members in the past have called it lettering from another coin which the Cent was struck on :facepalm: or a recycled coin :banghead:

    Ha,I cant say that didnt run thru my head when i first saw it,but....as much as I've been wrong,I've learned how to identify this stuff

    I may have noticed the top of the head being lamination but those indentations near the ear I would have called wrong and my mind would have wondered toward another coins edge rolling or banging against it. Nice find and nice call Foundin!
