1962 D Penny Error?

    Really? I honestly thought I had found something special.... The date looks like a double die to me.. Even the back looks normal to you? The A in america looks deformed as does the O and E in ONE, also the C in cent

    everything you see as special or different
    occurred to the coin well after it was in
    circulation.

    There is no error on your cent, I'm sorry to say.

    That is considered circulation mushiness.

    And the correct numismatic terminology is Doubled Die.. Not double die.
