Found this penny today, is this an error coin? I noticed that the date is very defined.

Why would a very defined date be an error?

I don't know? I compared it to several other pennies that I have...and they are nothing alike.

it looks 'more defined' because it's 95% copper. the present day composition does not allow for deep fields like yours.
