Is there a known RPM for the 1961 D five cent coin? If so, what are the markers? Does your coin match them all exactly? Or are you asking us to look that all up and get back with you with the answer? Most of the fun is in the discovery, the research, but only if it is my coin really. I would be happy to help confirm your find if you would show some legwork and give us the FS number so we could look it up easily.
    Thanks

When posting pictures please choose full size rather than thumbnail. So much easier to see. Also, pictures need to be in focus before anyone can help.

It looks like a worn die to me as well.

Here are some good sites to bookmark that have comprehensive listings of doubled dies and RPMs.

These are good sites to check if you think you found something. Plus you'll get to see what true hub doubling and RPMs looks like. One way to learn how to sport errors is to look at a lot of known errors. These sites have them all in one place. They also have info on the minting and die making processes, and learning that is invaluable to any error specialist

As mentioned above, the photos aren't clear enough, or close enough to tell much. As stated, Full Image is usually better.

Pitching. You pitch them, you don't pinch them. Ever seen The Cincinnati Kid (1965)? Get an education, it's at the end of this...
