I got this dime in some change the other day! And I thought all the silver had already been taken out of circulation by now by collectors and silver bugs. At first just wanted to know the coin's grade and value, but upon closer examination, I noticed two things on the reverse: 1. There's a dot above the A in STATES. 2. What's going on with the tip of the leftmost flame? Is that a cud or some other type of mint damage ? Thanks in advance for everyone's guidance!
Your photos are too small for me to tell anything. A cud is a die break on the rim that extends into the field. Chris
It's always fun to hear that distinctive "silver" ring in loose change! I see a well circulated Roosie. I don't collect the series, but I would surmise it be worth silver melt value.
