I can&#039;t figure out how that would happen during production. 3rd photo shows this from the edge.</li> <li>Same question at the top of the coin where the rim and lettering are distorted; the 4th &amp; 5th photos show the edge there.</li> <li>The diagonal striations from ST down and left are a bit odd, and match up with where the lamination is slightly folded back coming from U.</li> <li>The round spot on the lapel - reminds me of the great orange spot on Jupiter, but I don&#039;t think this is a storm. Probably just a stain.</li> </ol><p>The only thought I had was that due to the detached lamination, the coin was damaged somehow while being moved into or out of the dies?
