1960s Notes in Circulation

    Received these at the bank today.

    Some folks in other countries complain about getting a 2006 or 2006A hundred (old series); well I'll raise you these two, both from the 1960s and still circulating.

    If we want to get into the weeds a little bit- only the 1963A is the true 1960s bill here (1963A $100s were printed between 1966 and 1969).
    The 1969A was printed sometime between 1971 and 1973.

    Anyhow, fun to see these still out and about from time to time.

    One other minor note- 1963A has the Treasury seal in Latin. However, in 1968 the seal was updated, and that's the one we see in English on the 1969A and on all present-day notes.
