No, it is a SDO (single die obverse) those are the only ones I own, the rare single die obverse, in fact my collection is full of them!

Sorry to tell you but it is MD

I don't necessarily see MD or DDO, but I know I don't see a proof.

Well I'm a shop owner and my opinion is that it is just a normal business strike 1960 cent.

Wow, did you really? That's seriously awesome if you did, and the gullible badge of shame for me if I bit. I would lead with that in all conversations you have going forward.

Bryant-I see some possible markers on the T & Y of Liberty but not much else. But I would not hazard a guess based on your photos. But, by all means, hang on to it until you can get to a coin show to get some other opinions. As the others said above, never entirely base any judgment on only one dealer who may or may not know. If he said he would offer you something for it after you have it verified, then it's obvious even he is not sure. It would be cheapest for you to send to Dr. James Wiles for a possible attribution and avoid the big cost of having it returned to you not slabbed or worse having it slabbed as a common B.U. coin. Have patience my friend and all will work out in the end.
