Ive had this coinf for awhile and would love some outside opinions. It seems between the i and b and the lower part of the r are filled in. Is this common for this year people have come across? Im sorry for the low quality ill upload better tomorrow
It's reffered to as a BIE Die Crack. This can occur on any year. Here is some information - http://www.lincolncentresource.com/FAQ/BIE.html The R has a small Die Chip When referring to the letters on any coin use Capital Letters.. Such as a Die break between the B and I in LIBERTY.
Usually we refer to these as BIE die chips, not cracks. But technically, it doesn't really matter too much. Anyway, pics of the date needed to see if it's small or large date.
