I am new to coin collecting but I was wondering if this is a double die. You can see that in the left of the front it has a double print, as well as the JS, but there is nothing noticeable on the back. If these are or are not double die, how much would they be worth anyways?
Not a Doubled Die. What you have is a MAD Dime - Misaligned Die. The evidence is the Double Rim on the left side of the Obverse. I see no doubling of the letters, numbers or initials at all.
Also - If it were a true Doubled Die Cent, Dime, Quarter etc. the correct term is Quote "Note that the proper terminology for this occurrence includes the letter 'd' at the end of the first word, hence "doubled die". The term "double die" without the first word ending in 'd' is not proper numismatic terminology" closed quote I want to share this webpage with you - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doubled_die
Thanks.. I don't know everything and I've learned to accept when I'm in error. And I learn new things all the time
I think for there to be any added premium it has to be a pretty significant MAD. Yours is very minor. No added premium, just worth its silver content.
