I was searching through some rolls at my coin store and found 4 - 1960-D Lincoln Pennies that appear to all have the same error - the top of the "6" appears to be filled in or struck in a weird way. I am COMPLETELY a newbie to the world of Errors, so I was wanting a little help in identifying if these ARE errors, what type, and any value other than a Penny! (Mostly, I just see these as pennies with no extra value.) 0320181249a.jpg 0320181250a.jpg 0320181253a.jpg

They are die chips. They are exceedingly common and do not add any extra value to the coins IMO.

Well, thank you very much! I've gotten my "Error Coin Lesson" for the day!

I'm keeping my eyes out there for REAL errors... hopefully find a true Double Die some day!!!

    Thanks, Again.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

At first I thought the lower left one on the photo with 4 coins might be a LD/SD, but no.
