So i have found about 6 of these in a bunch of rolls i picked up. I know this is not a known variety and i expect that most of you will say its nothing. Anyway here it is whatcha think cointalk?
Ok i believe this to be a large date over small date. I am very familiar the difference between the large and small dates. Thanks
Look at the 6 and 0. You can see separation. There are notches on 1, 9, and 6. Also doubling on Lincoln's profile.
That is opposite small over large. Maybe don't be so quick to judge and actually have a look at the photos. I am very aware of the small/large date variety as i have had a few of them. Again i believe this to be the opposite of the known variety. There is a proof large/small date
As i have stated i know it's not the small/large date and it is not a known variety. Please look at photos the date has splitting and the profile has doubling as well. Please dont dismiss so quickly. Have another look please i can take more pics
+1 I think you’re confusing small date over large date, which this is not... https://www.usacoinbook.com/coins/4...t/1960-D/d-over-d-small-date-over-large-date/
@steve.e Why dont you take it out of the flip and get a decent picture with no blur from the plastic?
there is doubling. Now look at 9 Now the lips here is liberty @Rick Stachowski @furryfrog02 @Seattlite86 @Clawcoins
I have shown this 1960 ddo, RPM , Sm/lg date before, but why not again The Small 0 is the red line , The Large 0 the blue line. Green is D/D wide spaced. Jim
