1960 D/D 1c question.

    What is in the hair looks like minor die chips, and in the field looks like damage due to circulation.

    I will email pics and ask those mentioned and let everyone know what they say. I know when I put this coin away around 1990 after I noticed the ear and hair. I am recently retired and have been going through pocket change coins that I thought were different. Didn't realize how many coins a person can collect over 40 years...lol

    Can't help per marks in front of face. Lack of depth per ear and hair would result if head marks ARE extra metal

    Nice coin. The head marks are interesting. Looks like added metal, not just displaced. I hope we learn what the experts say.
