1959 Jefferson nickel worth

    Indeed, yet is the only real case that could be made for slabbing a very large portion of coins already residing in TPG plastic. Unless slabbing offers a benefit - anything from increased liquidity to independently verified authenticity and everything in between - equal to or greater than the cost of admission there simply is no reason to do so.

    I'm not sure if they're still made/sold, but the "old-ANACS" style CoinWorld/Amos "standard" slab-like holders were really very nice (in context) and a fine alternative for those wanting such a storage method. Oddly enough their so-called "premium" holders are junk by comparison. Go figure.
