1959 Franklin Half

    Well, for just over $11 you can't go wrong no matter what. But, it's not uncommon for Franklins to appear as that one is. Like was mentioned before, if you like it, buy it. The price-setter is the buyer, and thats you.

    Thank you guys for your input. I should have it any day now. When I do, I will post my own pics of it. I just love using CoinSpace! I only had one guy bid against me. The original bid was for $9.97! I bid, then some other guy bid for $10.97. So I bid just one more time, and won it. You guys should check out that site. You can sell your own coins on there for free, and find good deals. They don't have the big selection that Ebay does, but give it time. It is only a year old I think.:D

    The Franklin is an attractive uncirculated coin, not a proof or prooflike.

    Always hard to tell photos and not having the coin in hand to look for the cartwheel affect, reflectivity, etc., but my call is uncirculated; the luster on the fields looks to frosty to be proof, and the strike seems rather weak for it to be a proof....

    I received the coin and posted pics on "What's it worth " under 1959 Type two-rev.
