In this coin, the D mint mark seems to be doubled, and the date also shows some doubling, the digit 8 is a good example. In (LIBERTY), L is very flat and some small traces of doubling are in (IN GOD WE TRUST). And in reverse, it shows some doublings too in my view of course.
    What you say pls?

The mintmarks were hand-punched into the working dies until 1990, so it cannot be a doubled die.

How about an RPM...isn't that "kind of" like a doubled die?

No.. RPM is when the Mint Mark was punched onto the Die more then once. A Doubled Die variety has absolutely nothing to do with a double strike.

Actually I never said anything about it having to do with a double strike, I simply commented that an RPM was "kind of" like a doubled die (since the tool striking the mint mark must have been struck twice)

Mr. P., it's getting close to New Years Eve and he knows that he won't be able to attend the party in NYC, so he is just having a little "Pre-New Years Eve Party" fun.

Best wishes to all.......except the you know who trying to screw everyone while he's playing golf....and probably cheating at that, too!

Not "probably". Although the game he plays is not actually golf, the game everyone else plays. So technically not cheating when you play by your own rules...
