PCGS says $35, sounds like a decent deal.
I like that letter. Snarky.
Usually, at this shop, silver is marked up 150%, so I am guessing someone made an error in pricing. The envelope included the cards that cushioned the coins as well, so it was all original.
thanks for the looks.
Sounds like mine. They gouge you on prices and are incredibly rude. I've stopped going which sucks since they are the only store in the area. My best buy from them was a 1932 Mexican Peso that I pulled out of their world coin junk bin for 80c.
hey that's my birth year I want one , congrats great price!
I was 12 when it was minted and my folks bought a new Chevy Bel-Air.
Bel -Air Nomad?
No, two door sedan, 348 cid. Carter AFB, Powerglide. I got it when I turned 16.
Every bit as awesome. Bet you miss that thing.
Nice buy! I like it
I do look forward to being back in the US and potentially near pawn shops.
Idk, sometimes you can take advantage of their (relative) ignorance of world coinage. I still have the Prussian 2 thaler (unc condition) that I picked up for $30 at a pawn shop in Denver!
Oops, wrong thread
nice pick up
