Here are two Franklins for the toner Dansco. The Dansco is meant to be a fun project, not an expensive project, so I'm not looking for top of the line examples for each date/mm. Still, I am looking for nice looking examples. 1958 is by far the easiest year to find pleasantly toned Franklins from. However, a P mint tends to have blue toning, it is much more difficult to get a P mint with pleasant gold toning. I got the P mint from fleaBay and the D mint I pulled out of a Mint Set (along with two Washingtons that had comparable toning). The images are by Bob Campbell and I think he did an excellent job.
When you finish this project I would love to see a collage of all the coins in it. You have a good eye for these and Bob Campbell is a great photographer!
