This is the point that is being missed here. This coin is no doubt a 66+ at best. The dings planchet marks ect.. would no doubt hold it back. Tell me because this coin was last in a 66+ holder. Why didn't it garner the same price at Auction? that is because it wasn't graded a top pop coin.

I have to interrupt myself real quick because the toning on this coin is incredible.

The coin is the same coin no matter which holder or even what the holder says.
There is no other justification for it to garner the grade it has except that market grading elevated it above and beyond what it actually is. Someone from "photos" bought the same 66+ coin that never got any attention in the old slab, which was prolly over graded to start with. But decided that because it was now a top pop it was worth top pop money. This coin even in hand would show the same marks as the photos do. There is absolutely no reason for it. Legends Auctions no doubt put this coin at a high realized price because they even new that it was over graded. To the guy that bought it. I am real sorry for him because what we preach around here is buy the coin and not the slab. And there is no doubt he bought the slab.
