1958 D wheat Strange Markings

Does anyone have any idea what the markings are? Near C of Cent and N.

Clashed Die .

Yes to Die Clash.. In the 4th picture you can see Lincoln's chin and neck profile. It's upside down.

 

Die Clash for sure. And that 60 year old cent is holding up well

 

Awesome Rick. You got that quick... Are due clashes just for keepers? Or is there a market for them?

 

There is a market for Clashed Die coins,
but there has to be a good amount of
clashing on one side, or both.

This Wheat cent would have no premium
for the clash, as it's minor, and doesn't
show any decent or significant amount of
clashing marks from the reverse die.

Just my opinion.l.....

 

Cool clash! No significant premium, but a keeper.

 

Die clash errors can be hard to see & hard to photo. And as they get circulation wear even harder to find. You done good. Not gonna get ya rich but enjoy it
