Does anyone else see any problems with this coin.. Look at the whole obverse.. Look at the top of "In God We Trust" and to the right of "Liberty ".. Also, notice anything between the words WE and TRUST?? The rim where Liberty starts is not right.. The date I thought needed cleaning, which I now no not to do.. Pay particular attention to the 9.. Nobody gets this lucky but I had to post.. Best pictures I could post.. TY And yes, I already know that it's a lot of pictures.. Haha 20201011_113318.jpg 20201011_113340.jpg 20201011_115223.jpg 20201011_114642.jpg 20201011_123638.jpg 20201011_123353.jpg 20201011_122617.jpg 20201011_115045.jpg 20201011_115355.jpg

I think maybe you are trying too hard to find errors that just aren't there. All I see is a well circulated 1958 D cent.

Looks to me like it was minted from a worn die, hence the rim and LIBERTY. It also is well circulated.

It's on the dark side from the dirt inside the 9 but it may be a small die chip.

Wrong.. it's not dirt.. that's what I thought at first as well.. I tried to enhance a bit better.. can you see the T between WE and Trust?? 20201011_115636.jpg 20201011_115636.jpg 20201011_113340.jpg 20201011_150549.jpg 20201011_123030.jpg 20201011_115045.jpg 20201011_113318.jpg 20201011_113318.jpg

Okay.. if you can't see it I completely understand.. But, it's not dirt and it's not a die chip.. Its a completely different 9.. the whole obverse has brown letters underneath the top letters.. that is why the E's look filled in.. I'm sorry that you can't see it.. and there is something written very lightly across the whole top.. I tried guys

Or, I guess it's possible to be die chips in every GOD And every E and the 9 and the whole obverse.. I've really got to learn how to take a decent picture.. but, I am very excited and just wish yall could see

Wexler has a DDO involving the B in LIBERTY. VarietyVista has a DDO involving the B in LIBERTY as well as the top of the 9 in the date. Then there are various other identifying die scratches. I don't see any of those to the coin, either as a product of they not being there or the coin worn to the point they cannot be seen or the quality of the photo.

I have seen several coins that have many of the attributes but no obvious main DDO/DDR identifier due to wear. Is it possible the coins I've viewed are actually a DDR/DDO? Sure, but the evidence has been removed for proof.

I think it's just staining from age.

Well worn normal wheat cent. It is normal as dies are used to pick up small chips, and wear. If you look close enough every coin is a little different, even those from the same die.

Believe me.. I have never seen coins like this either.. Daddy has jars of stuff.. but his best is preserved.. I check the site's y'all tell me to and alot of these coins don't match, but are what I say they are.. Trust me, I would love to pull up a pic and match it up.. that would be SO much easier!! I really notice it on my old coin's.. there is apparently no record of some of these older Wheat Cents.. This one is not even what I consider old.. Thanks y'all for replying
