I found 6 of these 1958-D cents in a BU Federal Reserve Bank wrapped roll. There is a die mark between the jacket and the mint mark. What does this do for the value, if anything?
Die Breaks are neat.. Very little or no premium at all. It's worth whatever a collector of these type of minor issues are willing to pay for it.. I would pay $1.00 - $2.00 the most.
I think that's a die gouge, not a die break. It's been known and found for many decades. Might be worth a few bucks in that condition to an interested collector, but they can still be found in BU rolls.
I do think that I see a very minor re punch on the mint mark. So that is probably when the die was damaged.
