    A cud is a break on the rim that extends into the field. What you have are ordinary die chips. ~ Chris

    I am just curious. Why do you say those are cuds? Is there a website that states those are cuds? If there is they are incorrectly naming that issue. A few other newbies think the same. So that's why I ask.

    Yes thanks seen it on errors for 1957d penny.i never look for them.i stand corrected.always learning.

    The problem is coming from eBay. If you do a search of "cuds" in coins & paper money the result is a head shaker! Sellers think they can ask more for a die chip if they call it a cud.
