So I realize that there are many of these coins out there with different variety of errors. But this one coin has 3 or more of them on the obverse alone. Such a pretty penny too! Lower part of B is filled in, there's the BIE, a die break on the 9 and I believe there's a little bit of doubling going on! Wow!
The Doubling that I'm seeing appears to MD I'm not seeing a die break either, let see what other's think.
shes right, can some one look this one up.? im at dinner. I think, but im with family, just my opinion, its worth looking into.
Here is where you can compare your coin. http://www.varietyvista.com/01a LC Doubled Dies Vol 1/DDO 1957-D.htm
Rachel Perez keep looking into it, that die would have produced others found too. alurid gave best place to start. good pics thanks.
The BIE and the filled in B are from die chips. The 9 gets blurry when I enlarge but it might be another small chip. I can not see any doubling due to the blurring.
