I was very impressed with how much these little tokens sold for on pebay!! I call ebay pebay because when you sell on there you are robbed for much of your profit! I was bidding on them myself but I'm not willing to pay so much money on such a small coin. Some people call these little guys coins but they're actually tokens which are showing the Indian Chiefs of Venezuela from the 16th century. Just a hair bigger than a Mexican Dos Pesos coin at 14mm each. Beautiful looking pieces! That said, I'm hoping to see bigger examples but I don't know if there will be any, time will tell... Also, I don't have one of those thick a$$ World Coin books but I know someone here does, hint hint. I was able to win Sorocaima, I hate that word "win" but that's how I got it on ebay and the premium wasn't too bad as it's basically a 1/10th gold token at 18mm and 3 grams. That's the top pic! Supposedly all of these were minted in 1957 but I don't know if that's true as most don't have a date. Someone paid a total of $93.51 and an additional $2.95 to ship Tamanaco. I really wanted this one but when you consider resale value it didn't work for me. The bottom two pics weigh in at only 1.5 grams. The bottom token is Urimare and this is another one I really wanted but again, resale thoughts kept me from bidding any higher. Urimare sold for $85.99 and $2.95 to ship. I'm hoping by posting this information bidders start bidding less for these little gems but I wouldn't be surprised if my thread here backfires and makes the prices go up. On pebay, you never know!
