1957 penny

    I have this 1957 penny, I know the missing T in trust is from grease ? But is that type of error valuable? And is it a double die also? View attachment 616315

    I'm not seeing anything that makes me think Doubled die. Could you post an image of the whole coin? Welcome to CT. Lots of fun going on here.

    It looks like a well circulated cent, all the devices will look fattened.

    It may look like that in the picture, but it doesn't look like that in person.

    This can happen in well circulated coins, but it is also a way to tell the difference between a worn die and a grease filled die when part of the devices are missing.

    Grease filled dies tend to have flatter and wider devices. At least so I have been told several times.
