Wow you guys are special here. I used to be into it (collecting) and got away from that to take up Sports (what a trade, huh!). But now I have been back few years. First I see a forum like this.

I have one friend here in CT., Muhammad-Hussein..who is a coin collector as I am. I just purchased about $8.00 (straight) worth of Jefferson Nickels from him for.40 each (1970 and older are my value range coins.......)

I am expert in 2 1/2 fields and COINS isn't one of them but...lately I have been spending all my free time bringing my collection together. Will deal with any coins but mostly I work on bulk/low end coins pennies and nickels mostly.

I collect olden quarters too in a pattern of: 1965-69; and '71,'72 & 1980 & -stop- And olden dimes 1964-70 -&- 1980 (none else) but..coming around to thinking I am gonna only drop all that line to make hard cash and turn around and invest it straight up (Armand..& he is kind of "rich"//I don't know exactly he won't let on....SAYS $ can $$ ~double~ "every seven years". He invests in Schwabs and many more....)

First post I have ever in my life made at this forum.

Question: 1970-S quarters. What is UP w/them. I've read that some were stamped over Canadian stock. Worth 15// or 30(?)000.00 $/$$. Is that a fact?

(I collect 1970's certainly and also sequest that date). Any insight from this site will be appreciated.
