    No
    MD - Mechanical Doubling
    DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling

Mechanical is a striking issue and nothing to do with a true Doubled Die variety. They are Worthless doubling.

    DDO and DDR
Doubled Die Obverse and Doubled Die Reverse are true Doubled Die varieties and are the ones worth lookin for.

MD means mechanical doubling. DDD means die deterioration doubling. You are correct on DDR. MD and DDD have no added value (NAV). This should help.

Here is a good website to understand the difference

    https://doubleddie.com/144801.html

It also explains what a true Doubled die variety is when you look at the rest of the website!
