As an aside, these chips run through the Memorial coppers, too, but seem to end off at the Memorial zincs. At least, that's been our observation. We have a '72-D with the space in the 9 totally chipped out, and some '60s like that, and half chipped, as in your '56-D. We have S Wheats that are chipped in those areas, too. That makes sense, as they're really just stress to the dies, just like a crack. Anyway, here's the '56, and sorry I couldn't come up with the ones like yours... [ATTACH=full]464743[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]
