1957 B $1 no serial # help

ok guys, this is what I have to go off of. is this legit? I can sort of see a serial number on bottom left but I don't see any signs of a seal or top right serial. any idea as to a value of this? thinking about purchasing it

Looks suspicious......like it's been tampered with.

Is this a private sale, or from a currency dealer ?

 

Fading of the ink and you can still see some of the serial. It was washed to make it look like it's missing the third printing I believe

I see part of the numbers also, possibly bleached.

I'm not disagreeing, but how would it be possible to remove the seal without affecting the 'Washington, DC'?

 

Different color/type inks!

 

I guess the next step to this, particularly on the seal is to get it under a high power microscope with some back lighting to see if there is any remnants of the ink in the paper.
