    Can someone give there opinion on this 1956 D cent penny
    Is it a double die

    The 1 of the date and E of Liberty sure appear to be doubled from your picture. However, after a quick search at at coneca and doubledie, I come up with no known matches. Can we see a close up of Liberty, Lincoln's eye, and full reverse pic?

    The 1 in the date has taken a hit. It is post mint damage.

    Thanks for your insights ..does it pay to sell it ..or is it not worth it ?in other word how much is it worths? And how to sell it or where to sell it Thanks guys

    Maybe worth 3 cents to a collector who can't find one. It's damaged though as noted so you should deduct for that so you won't cheat the guy.

    I would deduct 1 cent not to cheat the guy, so I think if he advertised right he should be able to double his money.
