For the reverse marking in question I was thinking far away doubling (like we’ve seen with the ear). While I know this is a stretch, it looked similar to a near object and I hadn’t seen die chips like that before. In fact, researching this prior to posting I couldn’t find any markings similar to this. </p><p>Regarding the rim, there doesn’t appear to be any displaced metal.
