1955-P DDO found!!

    At one time I had 5 of these 3 in red 64 and 2 in RB 64.
    Most don't know these are rarer then the 55 ddo.

    After seeing these examples, even magnified I can't see a DDO, I suppose I will never become an error coin person.

    It's Class 6 doubling. It's more thickness and distortion. Less separation lines and notching.

    Graded in MS these can get a really nice premium .

    Exactly. The 9 is out of whack. That's where Class 6 shows the best, in the leg of the 9. This is a very minor one.

    Nice find--I agree, the stroke of the 9 is easy to spot.
