1955 Lincoln penny

  1. I have a 1955 Lincoln penny with shadowing of everything on the obverse . is this a DDO ?

  4. It will be a few days befor I came upload a picture .. But is this normal for the date and all to have shadows like that ?

    That depends on what you're calling a "shadow," which could have a hundred meanings.
     
  6. I heard it happen with the 1987 penny as well. But not with the 1955
     
  7. You can see 1955 twice , but one is metal and the other seems to be a very shiny stamp

    He's a new member. Not sure how knowledgeable he is regarding coins. I never heard of shadowing. Though that DD picture could narrow it down, since the OP didn't post a picture.

    Yes. Not all coins but some coins.
