1954 Jefferson Nickel D/D?

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by Joey from Da Bronx, Oct 28, 2020.

  1. Just found this today while emptying out a jar of collected coins. Looks like a D/D South. Didn't find anything listed on any variety/error websites. Opinions? 1954DDOB.jpg 1954DDRC.jpg 1954DDA.jpg 1954DDD.jpg 1954DDF.jpg 1954DDRC.jpg

Are you talking about the top left of the regular D?

Looks like a normal D with circulation hits and wear to it

Just looks like a tiny hit to the top. Keep swinging.

  7. What I'm pointing out is the faint image of a 'D' below (south of) the visible 'D'.

That's just circulation marks - see how baggy the
    surfaces are?

    That's not a D/D imo
