1953 Penny Date mint error

    (Notice that I spelled 'you're' correctly)
    If you are so absolutely sure that everyone here is wrong, prove it.

    I'm 19, and consider myself well-versed in the minting process. Age doesn't always play a factor in how much someone knows...

    FACT: Displaced metal is a sign of damage after the coin is struck.
    FACT: Nearly all errors occur either prior to or during the striking of the coin.
    FACT: There is no error that has an appearance similar to your coin.

    By drawing a logical conclusion, we come to the fact that this anomaly did not occur prior to or during striking. Ergo, it is not a mint error.
    Now that I have presented my argument, I would like to hear yours.
