[QUOTE="Skyman, post: 2029455, member: 28299"]Here are the 1953 PDS Washingtons for my toner Dansco set. I found that finding raw decently toned 1953 Washies was more difficult than expected. All 3 of these coins were bought slabbed, two by PCGS and one by NGC, and then cracked out. Obviously you can figure out at least one of the PCGS slabbed coins. Anyone want to guess which of the other two was PCGS and which was NGC? Also, if you're in the mood for it, what do you think the coins were graded?

I am not a variety collector per se. It was only after buying the D that what was going on with the mm was noticed. I looked in Cherrypickers Guide, but there is nothing like this. Do you think it is machine doubling, well tripling actually, or a new repunch variety? Personally, I would have expected more doubling/tripling on the devices near the D if it was a machine effect, but in any case, I think it looks neat.

The P & D were imaged by Bob Campbell, and the S was imaged by Shane Canup.
