My opinion is that it is worth the silver content only. $4.20 as I write this. According to the Cherry Pickers Guide, there are 2 desirable varieties for thus date and MM. One is a "huge D" MM the other is doubling on the obverse. I can rule out the huge D from the position of the MM in your photos. Hard to tell if about the DDO from your pictures.

Welcome to Coin Talk. Sorry, but your 1952 D Quarter is not a proof coin. All proof Washington quarters from 1932 to 1964 were struck at the Philadelphia Mint and have no mint mark on them. Your coin is a worn circulation strike and due to it's condition, worth little more than melt value.
