well my wife bought me this little microscope and this is just two of the coins I have found so far I am new so any help is good . 1952d seems to have a s punched to lower south east of the d and the 1942 seems to have a 4 under the 2 so if you all could point out if I am correct then I will post more coins thanks for the help.

If you need a microscope to see something, even if it really is not usual,
it's not a big deal. Although you can get your name listed somewhere, as the founder of the discovery coin of a new error or DD or RPM etc.

The problem is, you can look at almost any coin with a microscope and see something that probably shouldn't be there.

JB Coins has discovered hundreds of doubled dies. Almost every single one has been mechanical doubling or die deterioration, and even if he really did discover some microscopic discrepancy, when it is that small there's no premium.

And that is exactly why I said what I did, all normal.

I'm not saying not to study coins.
But coins are not perfect, and tiny imperfections are normal when you
consider the high speed minting process, the dies and the blanks.
