1950s Lincoln Wheat Penny-Lamination Error on Nose & Eye??

    Hi guys,

    I have this 1950 s Lincoln Wheat penny and would like to know if this is a Lamination Error on Lincoln's nose and eye? It looks like a piece of metal that was stuck to the end of his nose and another piece of metal near his eye.

    I see this big nose and think that now Lincoln looks like a clown!

    While laminations are common enough on Wheat cents, I think that in this case, poor old Abe just got a punch in the nose from something.

    Flattening due to a hit, in other words. PMD.

    No it's not glue, I have examined it. It looks like a piece of metal.
